NK (Dutch National Championships)

A-class men’s youth 55-60 kg. Nahdir Haseth will box in the semi-final on November 22nd in Apeldoorn against Rudmer de Jong (De Wâldhoek Boxing School) and, if he wins, he will box in the final against Max van Diessen (The Punch) on November 30th in Rotterdam.

B-class men’s schoolboys -66 kg. Shermilon Susana will box in the final on November 23rd in Breda against Djovi Roelofs (040 Boxing Gym).

B-class men’s juniors -60 kg. Skye Prinssen will box in the final on November 23rd in Breda against the winner of Guy Mirer (BCVA) and Luc Schmitz (040 Boxing Gym).

B-class men’s elite 55-60 kg. Claude Auguste will box in the semi-final on November 23rd in Breda against Sem de Vries (Vondelgym) and, if he wins, he will box in the final on November 30th in Rotterdam.

In the A-class men’s elite 70-75 kg, the draw has determined that two Curaçaoans, Raekwon Baas and Cyrus Clarinda, both living in the Netherlands, will face each other in the semifinals on November 23 at De Bredase Ring in Breda.
Baas and Clarinda know each other very well and have sparred together many times.
Clarinda represents the club Bredase Ring, and will box at home. Baas, who trains at FitBoyz010, represents Team Suriname, his mother’s country of birth.
Raekwon Baas was born and raised in Curaçao to a Surinamese mother, Palmira Baas-Sandvliet, and a Dutch father, Edwin Baas. The Surinamese Boxing Association has approached Raekwon to represent Suriname on the Road to the Olympic Games.
The winner will box in the final on November 30.
