50th anniversary

CuraBox – Celebrating an important milestone: 50 Years of organized Boxing in Curaçao.

The national federation Curaçao Boxing Association (CuraBox) was established January 5, 1977 originally under the name Curaçaose Amateur Boks Associatie (CABA).
On January 9, 2027, we will celebrate this remarkable 50th anniversary with a boxing event bringing together boxers, clubs, coaches, officials, supporters, sponsors and the wider Curaçao community.

Over the past five decades, CuraBox and its affiliated clubs have played an important role in developing boxers, coaches and officials and in promoting boxing as a sport and as a positive influence on young people.

CuraBox is a non-profit organization and the activities of CuraBox, like this event, are non-commercial. The board consists entirely of volunteers who receive no compensation for their time, commitment and efforts.

Organizing a special 50th anniversary event comes with significant costs and therefore we are looking for companies, organizations and individuals who would like to become a partner of CuraBox and help us make this historic celebration possible.
