The annual Wilson ‘Papa’ Godett Trophy boxing program was once again a great success.
There were victories for Jayden Mogen (Boca), Nahif Wilmans (Boca), Derriel Alvares (Pro-Fit), Manuel Pinheiro (Kapap), Jundrick Jansen (Kapap), Jonathan Trouwloon (Pro-Fit), Luuk Bal (Pro-Fit), and Fabian Williams (Supreme), who also won the Wilson ‘Papa’ Godett Trophy.
For Williams, it was a great comeback, as he had not boxed for a long time due to a scooter accident.
There were also awards for Edmond Lodowica and Chucu Zimmerman in recognition, and Fundashon Papa Godett received a plaque with golden gloves from Samuco.
CuraBox president Edwin Baas thanks Fundashon Papa Godett for another successful event and also thanks all participating boxers from the clubs affiliated with CuraBox, all competition officials, board members, the Red Cross, sport.cw for the livestream, and everyone who contributed in any way.
