A small delegation of the Curacao Boxing Association (CuraBox) will participate in the coming days in the continental championships of the AMBC (American Boxing Confederation) that will take place in Manta, Ecuador.
Skye Prinssen (Supreme Boxing Centre) will compete in the junior class under 57 kg.
Shawn Pryce (Baas Sports) will box in the elite class under 71 kg.
Coaches Coregelino Djaoen, Joram Schenk and Edwin Baas will accompany the team.
Prinssen and Pryce both won their international bouts on May 3.
Edwin Baas, also president of CuraBox, estimates the chances are high and thinks that both boxers will return with a medal.
