Edwin Baas, president of the Curacao Boxing Association (CuraBox), attended on December 12 and 13, 2025, the IBA (International Boxing Association) Festival in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The festival included; the Global Boxing Forum, the IBA Ordinary Congress, a Pro-Boxing fight night and the World Championships for elite men.
In addition to representatives from 126 national federations, many prominent figures from the boxing world were present.
