Jyornan Godett won his boxing bout in Mexico in front of more than 7000 people.
Jyornan is continuing his family’s boxing tradition; his grandfather, Wilson “Papa” Godett (union leader and boxer), was also a renowned welterweight champion in the 1950s.
In the Netherlands, Jyornan, also known as Jayjay, trains at Orhan Ozturk in Nijmegen and in Mexico at 10 segundos boxing club.
