No boxers, no event

For the safety and health of the athletes, the matches must be equal according to the rules. This means that in a match both boxers are of the same weight class, same age class and same gender. Experience is also important. For example, someone who is making his debut cannot box against someone who has already boxed ten bouts.
Like Sugar Ray Leonard said: “You don’t play boxing”.
In exceptional cases, it happens that a boxer boxes against someone from a higher class, but after a risk analysis and after approval by both parties (boxers and coaches), the supervisor of the team competition officials and the board of CuraBox.

30 registrations does not automatically mean that there are 15 matches, for the reason described above. There is also the problem that it is difficult to get a boxer to box against someone from the same club or against someone he has already boxed against many times.

Organizing an event costs a lot of money and to cover these costs the organization depends on income from paying visitors.
If visitors pay to come and watch the bouts, there must be a program with enough bouts.
