December 10, the Junior category boxing delegation from Curaçao, represented by the athletes; Yadiel Martes (36 kg), Deshaun Bernadina (38 kg), Shermilon Susana (54 kg) and Skye Prinssen (56kg), together with the coaches; Joram Schenk, Yohan León and Coregelino Djaoen, traveled to Venezuela to participate in the final of the V edition of the ANGOSTURA BELT and then participate in two more exchanges in the city of Caracas. The sports leader reported that Supreme Boxing Centre has been working together with CuraBox and its president Edwin Baas for the development of boxing in Curaçao, and this can be seen represented in the results that the country has been obtaining in the last international competitions.
This is a progressive work structured in different stages. These children who are traveling to Venezuela today are part of the EDUKANDO UN KAMPION project, which was born with the idea of working in the lower categories. To conclude, Djaoen reported that these athletes will be doing 3 bouts each during this week of competition in Venezuela and where they hope to obtain the best results.
